What is your favourite dive site in Oman, and why?
Three Sisters is my favourite dive site in Oman because it combines beautiful underwater scenery with an exciting diving experience.

Meet Laura Divay.
Laura’s diving journey began during a holiday in Egypt. She decided to try diving without knowing what to expect, but her first experience underwater immediately fascinated her. Discovering marine life up close felt like entering another world, and she quickly realised that diving was more than an activity; it was a way to explore, learn and experience something completely different.
With 15 years of diving and two years with Omanta, Laura loves teaching, sharing her passion and seeing the excitement in people’s eyes as they discover something new. She enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds, exchanging stories, laughing together and creating memorable moments above and below the surface.

Diving stories and advice.
What is your most memorable underwater moment?
In the Maldives, I unexpectedly experienced strong currents, which made the dive even more exciting. Drifting through the water felt like being inside a huge aquarium, surrounded by manta rays, sharks and even a whale shark. It was an incredible experience that I would love to repeat.
What advice would you give to a new diver?
Take your time, stay curious and do not be afraid to ask questions. Every dive is a chance to learn something new. Trust your training, enjoy the moment and remember that the underwater world is there to be explored, not rushed. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the journey.
