What is your favourite dive site in Oman, and why?
Hands of God is a 50-60 metre deep dive site filled with sharks and rays. I have only been there once, but it is an experience I would love to repeat.
Founder, explorer and instructor with more than two decades of diving experience in Oman.
I am the founder of Omanta Scuba Diving Academy, where my passion for exploration meets my commitment to sharing the underwater world with others. Based in Oman, I continue to explore the country’s remarkable waters, from the open ocean and peaceful lakes to hidden underwater caves. Wherever there is water and a new challenge, I am ready to dive in. Through every expedition, I aim to discover new places, deepen my knowledge and inspire others to experience the beauty, mystery and adventure found beneath the surface.

One of my earliest and most unforgettable dives was at the West Bay site near Fahal Island. The waters were alive with an incredible variety of marine life, from graceful rays and curious turtles to sharks and schools of barracuda. Just when I thought the dive could not get any better, it ended with my first-ever whale shark encounter - an experience I will never forget.
Keep diving, keep exploring and discover what it is about the underwater world that keeps calling you back. Never stop learning, because every dive has something new to teach you. You never know when a single moment beneath the surface will become the highlight of your life.
