The practical terms for payment, cancellation, weather, medical fitness, certification and equipment responsibility.
Booking and cancellation
Clear terms before you confirm.
Booking & payment
- All activities and courses must be booked in advance.
- Full payment is required to confirm snorkeling, fun dives, courses, camping, private boats and technical programs.
Cancellation & no-show
- 72 hours or more: full refund or reschedule.
- Between 24 and 72 hours: reschedule.
- Less than 24 hours: non-refundable.
- No-shows and late arrivals: non-refundable.
- Courses started but not completed: non-refundable.
Weather & sea
- Trips may be rescheduled or canceled for weather, sea conditions or safety concerns.
- If Omanta cancels, guests may reschedule or receive a full refund, less a 5% card-processing fee when paid by card.
Medical & fitness
- All divers complete a medical questionnaire.
- Medical clearance is required when a condition is declared.
- A suitable doctor can be facilitated when requested at least 72 hours in advance.
- Participation may be refused when safety is compromised.
Certification & experience
- Certified divers present a valid card and logbook or digital log.
- A check dive may be required after 6-12 months without diving or if experience is unclear.
- Advanced sites require Advanced Open Water or equivalent.
- Technical diving follows strict prerequisites.
Equipment & environment
- Rented equipment must be returned undamaged; loss or damage is charged.
- Personal equipment remains the diver's responsibility.
- Touching marine life, collecting shells and damaging reefs are prohibited.
- Marine park rules apply at all times.
General
Safety and operational updates.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Omanta Scuba Diving Academy may update policies for safety and operational reasons. All participants sign the applicable liability documentation. Guests may opt out in writing from the marketing use of photos or videos taken during activities.
Technical & rebreather divers
Specialist support must be arranged before arrival.
Technical and rebreather participation is available only to appropriately certified and experienced divers whose intended plan has been accepted in advance.
- Certification, recent experience, configuration and planned profile must be shared
- Gas and logistical coordination remain subject to availability
- Personal technical and rebreather equipment must be properly serviced, inspected and suitable for the plan
- Omanta may amend or decline a plan where conditions, equipment or safety requirements are not met
